Shedding questions

So my 8 month old I just starting a shed. His head shed first and now his body is getting ready for a shed. Typically what kind of behavior changes do you see? I've noticed the obvious rubbing up against things in his Viv but do they usually bask less or anything? I've noticed he hasn't been basking as much lately. His temps are good. Measured with a digital thermo with probe end for 45min-an hour at 105 deg. I've been misting him more and bathing him more. Any other "shedding" behavior I should be aware of? Found out he has some magnificent orange colors on his head and can't wait to see the rest as he sheds.

They might get grumpy and eat less. They do shed in patches, one part , then another. Isn't it fun to watch their colors come in?

They also twitch when you touch the area that is about to shed because it is itchy.
