Shedding Question:

My baby beardie is about 3 months old now. He has had a few sheds; normally i find pieces around the cage. He is eating about 130 small crickets weekly and kale/ other greens. He has started to stay at the bottom of the cage a lot more than he normally would be. Does that mean he getting ready to shed or is something wrong?
He is still eating normal and I soak him after he eats normally ( just to get him used to the process). He is going to the bathroom at a normal rate..

any ideas?

Am I correct in thinking you're worried about him being at the bottom of the tank and not basking enough? If that's the case, I would check temperatures. Does he have any changes in his skin that would indicate a shed?

Temps are good. He is going through a shed and has some discolor skin.
I guess i was just worried that he was hanging out at the bottom in his house; in the middle of the day and wanted to make sure thats normal

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
