Shedding Question

So Bulmers started shedding this weekend. he gets daily soaks, sometimes two. During the shed, his skin stays tented longer than usual. I know this normally means dehydrtion, but since he gets plenty of water, is this just a part of the shedding process??? Other than that, he's his normal self. Thanks much all.

Hi ive heard that if you bath them too much they can lose their natural body oils, which may be why skin is tented (not sure if this is true but thought id mention it). A bath every other day will do fine, thats what i do with mine and his shed comes off quickly. I wouldn't worry about the tented skin, seems like he's getting plenty of water.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
