Shedding Problem

So my beardie shed all her legs and her tail easley bout week ago but her whole body (back and stomach) and part of her head haven't shed and doesn't look like its even about to shed. Is this bad? And what can I do? And she puffed out at me and she hasn't done this In a while, she is also being very lazy recently.

I've been giving her bath everyday for like 5 minutes and I just misted her cage a lil. Also she is 5 months old.

It is common for beardies to shed in stages. I would increase her bath time to 10-15 minutes. She is probably puffing out her beard to stretch out the skin in preparation for shedding the area. Laziness and grumpiness are also associated with shedding.

Misting the cage increases the humidity and will make your girl more suceptible to respiratory infections. We recommend that caretakers not mist the inside of the tanks.

Thanks for the quick reply! I wasnt sure if misting was bad, i heard some people do it to help shedding, but at least i only did it once thanks for the help!

It is totally normal I wouldn't worry that much just bathe her once or twice a week.Mist her 2-4 times a day and that will help the shedding process go faster.I hope that I helped
