We have a 7 year old bearded dragon Eddy, who hasn't always had the best sheds (he's lost 4 toes on his back foot though one has, strangely, grown back nail and all). He's shedding again and right now the pads of his front feet are shedding but it's too early for them. The shedding skin is raw and thick and pulling away leaving very pink and tender skin underneath. He doesn't seem to be too fussed and is still running around as happy as ever but I don't want them to become infected and any more sore. We've given him baths and everything in attempts to help but they look so pink and tender. Should we use an antibacterial cream on them? Any sort of oil or moisturizer to help? Thanks!
*I should also add that his beard has been unusually darkened during this shed and we do think he has a RI that were taking him to the vet about soon.
