I've been wondering if his behavior is changing lately because of a shed or not, because he is not acting the same as usual. Rin is kind of laid back for a juvenile anyway. He likes to stare at shiny objects in the backyard while perched on the top of the couch, and he is a cuddler for the most part, any time. Lately though, he is being more lazy, and sweet acting than normal. He just wants to cuddle when I take him out. His body is starting to shed in small parts, so I don't know if it's going to be a partial body shed or a massive, full body one. Right now, his personality seems similar to that of a child with the flu (best as I can describe it). And he has avoided eating crickets for the past 3 days. Yesterday, he let a bunch of them jump around him, and two of them jumped onto his back, and walked all the way down his nose while he stood there. He will eat worms when put in front of him....butter worms, and horn worms three days ago. But, yesterday and today he had only two horn worms, then today after his second one, he turned down a third horn worm, and just stared at it. He's just lets the crickets crawl on him for the past two days. Is that normal behavior for a shed? Do they just not want to eat?
We've had him for 3 months now, and he's around 9 months old. The past couple of sheds he gets kind of the same way, but usually while he is IN his shed, not leading up to it.
I've heard some say that their dragons get pissy, but Rin just gets cuddly, and doesn't mind being touched, or petted, but does not seem to want to eat, unless it's worms, which seem kind of similar to a kid eating candy...can't resist.
