Shedding and Feeding question

So i just got my dragon 3 weeks ago and he was attacked by another one so hes missing a front and back foot. Hes already shed twice since I got him and right now only his front leg is turning grey like its about to shed but the rest of his body is normal colored. Is that normal? Can they shed little parts at a time?

Also how much should he be eating? Im afraid im over feeding him. He eats up to maybe 20+ crickets a day and mealworms every now and then but i try to feel him twice a day since hes still young.

Sounds to me like your doing everything right. Shedding in patches is completely normal my beardies tale goes grey before anything else but every BD is different. Just make sure your feeding him how ever much he will eat within 10-15 minutes twice a day. Your not overfeeding him at all, you may even want to offer him a little more than 20. You dont need to worry about overfeeding because most dragons stop eating when they feel full, also most of this food is put into energy for growth. However if you do feel like he is looking overweight e.g he cant hold his belly up then just gradually reduce the amount you feed your dragon each time.
