i just noticed my new guy Rocky is shedding his tail (was wondering why the tail color was so much lighter than the body color, guess cause it's skin coming off...). i have read that bathing will help during shedding? what temp should the water be?? don't wanna freeze him or burn him either.... thanks! oh yeah....should bathing be b4 or after eating or no matter on that?

run it like a baby bath!! Think about it, if their basking temp is X then give them water under that temp! No higher than their elbows and supervise them while bathing! I give Franklin baths in my bathtub and just put a perching rock in it for him to swim to! He doesn't "love" it but it's a good setup!

everyone says like a baby bath....i never had kids, no idea what a baby bath should be lol. i was figuring a little warmer than room temp...? no tub here, will have to make do with the kitchen sink.... on second thought, might need to get a container for a tub...i have 2 smaller sinks that he would be kind of crowded in....hmmmm

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
