It seems beardies, at least female beardies since i dunno about male ones, have two distinct scents. I (have a weird habit of smelling things) Upon my dragon's back, it's like a soft leather smell with a slight sharpness that resembles baby powder. It seems that her belly has a scent of corn chips, like a dog's paws. I noticed that after she had a shed of her entire belly come off at once and too a whiff of the shed to see if it had the same scent as her top.

I wonder why that is?

I never gave this much thought but you're actually right. They really do have a distinct smell.

My beardie is currently sitting on my face and made me think of this thread. Now that I think about it more my beardie's stomach smells like those Mexican lime candy powders and his top smells well...idk. Like a bearded dragon, I guess haha.
