Please get him/her to a vet for the noise,it could be a respiratory infection. On a good note, the people here are always ready to help in any way we can. I want to make 1 suggestion though. It would be great if you could take him/her outside for a little natural sunlight each day, this would greatly help with UVB,natural sunlight is GREAT for beardies. If there is anything else we can help with just let us know and we will all help out.

Hello everyone,

update on Moria. She seemed to be doing alot better today. She actually seemed Peed Off because I was not able to hold her as much as I wanted to. She did eat today. I offered her greens and berries and she seemed to be much better. I didnt hear any sneezing as much. I figured that maybe she did get a little dust or something and it was just making her agravated but will keep a very close eye...two that is... on her. I did turn off the UVB and she did seem to be better today. I am going in the morning to look for the Rapti Sun 10 first thing. I am not saying that is the reason for this strange behavior all of a sudden but she did seem alot better today without it turned on. Thanks for everyone help and I will keep you informed if it takes another turn for the bad but as for right now she seems happier.

Thanks

Patrick

I can tell you a lot of people doubted the reptiGLO 10.0 or compact bulbs could cause problems, but became believers when they saw a dramatic change in behavior within hours of the bulb being turned off. The reptisun 10.0 is the way to go. Be aware, at pet stores they are $40-50 and online at http://www.petmountain.com the bulb is less than $20.

Hello everyone,

Just to let everyone know. Moria is back up and at it again. She seems so much better. I could not believe that the only thing I did was remove the Compact Repti Glo 10.0 and she seems so much better. I checked the local pet store but they did not have the Repti Sun 10.0 so I will be ordering it online. I hope it doesnt take too long to get here. She ate her greens and fruit along with a few crickets, She had a nice warm bath and everything worked just find. It was the first time my wife got to see the bath and was like OH MY. All of that was inside of her. LOL. Thanks to you guys it has saved me a large Vet bill. She has even stopped the Hairball cough and she even has her eyes open now instead of holding them closed. Thanks again to all that gave me insight. I am so glad I found this website.

Good to hear she's doing so much better. It's amazing how much impact the lights can have on them. Don't worry if it takes a week or so to get your bulb, she should be okay until you get it in. If you are worried you can try setting her on the windowsill in the sunlight, just make sure the window is open (with a screen :) ) because most window glass is treated to screen out UVB. My vet said ten minutes in direct sunlight is equal to four hours under the lights.

Hello everyone. I wanted to let everyone know that Moria is doing much much better. She pounced on the crickets this morning. It was actually a great show. I fed her a good amount and she just woofed them down. I then placed her in a warm tub so she will do her business and I have some concern. Her poop was broken more today than the other day. Being a new daddy to Moria I am concerned with just the slightest changes and there has been another one. When she pooped it looked like it was not as digested as usual. Then there are these little white things that look like larva but are not moving at all. I looked at them through a jewelers glass and was not able to notice anything that looks like a worm. It looks more like a very small egg/larva but not moving. I researched pinworm, thinking that might be what it is, but it doesn't look like what I saw in the picture. I find this alittle strange also because today is the first time I noticed these and well there has been many poops and there are a LOT of these little off white looking thingys. Any help in this will help me at least feel comfortable. Thanks.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
