She ate a piece of the fake plants in her viv!

Today Mango ate an inch of semi-soft plastic from the artificial vine plant I have hanging in her viv. We purchased everything at PetSmart so I assume it is nontoxic. As an FYI, the plant has a suction cup on one end and 5 reddish flowers on the other end (for anyone that may own it). There really aren't leaves because the plant is made up of vine-like soft long spikes. I removed it from her viv to avoid any future problems, and I placed a salad in her viv. She is about 4-5 months old and about 7-8 inches long. She has been rambunctious all day and overly energetic because she is shedding (she keeps rubbing her head on things). She just pooped about an hour before she swallowed the plant. Should I be worried? She seems completely fine right now, and she is even eating her salad. All of the animal hospitals I called said to simply wait and see if she shows any signs of lethargy or constipation. But I'm a worry-wort... so has anyone out there had a beardie eat their fake plant decor by accident? Should I worry that this is fatal? :(

Thanks very much,
Justin

Well, not fake plant, but a lot of dragons on here have eaten some weird things- rocks mostly, and most of them were ok afterwords. I agree with your vet, just keep an eye out for constipation. Baths and a massage down the right side of her tummy will help. You might want to think about giving some pumpkin or apple babyfood (Earth's Best actually makes a pumpkin/apple Stage 2 combo that would be perfect) with a drop or two of olive oil to help ease things along as well.

Ah, sorry for the confusion. No we keep fresh salad in her viv at all times. As of right now we are using Kale, apples, radish and squash. We are thinking about subbing carrots soon. We are also coating the kale in organic apple baby food. Does this sound o.k for a beardie? Or should we be feeding her something different? Again thank you both for your help. It is truly appreciated =)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
