Shaking her tailfeathers???

My girl is gravid and it may be related to breeding but I am not sure. She started shaking her back half around this afternoon, over and over. She would rest a few than lift up a bit and shake her back half like she was trying to "shake something off". (Note: not the same as the twitch I see in videos of beardies low on calcium. This is more intentional.) I am not sure what this is as she didn't do it with the last clutch and she just keeps doing it. I gave her a bath (thinking it might help) and she even did it in there and continued afterwards. She started digging in the corner yesterday so I know she is getting ready...plan to put her in her lay box for a couple hours tonight but need to get some more vermiculite or some sand on the way home from work. Any ideas?

She stopped the shaking thing, I put her in her laybox and dug a nice hole. Then she crawled in another corner curled up and went to sleep. I have cleaned her off and plan to put her in her cage for the night. We will try the laybox again tomorrow. Right now she is sleeping soundly on my chest and I hate to move her but I need to sleep myself. Night.

Hmm. Odd. The wriggles are usually getting eggs in position, but they usually get on and do. If she's still not laying, give your vet a call...
