Severely dehydrated, won't eat, and more

My beardie is severely dehydrated, and I am completely blaming myself. The temperature was far too high in my room (it's been a HOT summer), and I wasn't soaking him as regularly as I used to (maybe once a month up until recently). His eyes look sunken in, skin on his back sides is wrinkled, he refuses to eat veggies or worms, and he hasn't pooped at all lately. I've been soaking him daily for the past 6 days, and just added pedialyte to his bath as of today. For the first three soaks, he drank a ton of water. So much, that he gagged a little the first two days. Today, he did poop (if you could call it that) while soaking. It looked almost like a piece of cooked egg white when submerged in water. I have a picture but I'm not sure how to add it to my post.

I have stopped using his basking light and have bought him a new UVB light, per the recommendation of an expert at my local reptile store. I know I definitely could have prevented this, and I feel terrible. I've had a rough summer and my care for Reptar wavered... I wasn't as attentive as I used to be. Many months ago he became constipated, but he still ate so I didn't think much of it. It was about two weeks ago that I began to worry, since he lost all interest in his food. I want to take him to the vet, but I lost my job in June and can barely make rent. I'm terrified he isn't going to make it. I raised Reptar since he was the size of my finger and I just can't stand to see him like this. He is nearly 3 years old now.

I was told to soak him in the pedialyte/water mixture overnight, but the water got so cold (and he got so cold), that I couldn't stand to leave him in there (side note: I'm not really sure of his gender. I tried researching it online but still couldn't figure it out). He turned very dark so i put him under a basking light to warm him up. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.

I would bathe him twice daily for 15-20 minutes each time (never before bed). Definitely do NOT leave him in water all night, not only can he drown but he'd be FREEZING. I would give him a syringe of water every day to make sure his fluid needs are being met. I also don't think taking away his basking light would be a very good idea, just make sure the temps are good. If he's actually not eating I would be giving critcal care and squash chicken baby food until his appetite picks back up.

Good luck with your baby and try to keep us updated please!

vet told me today that cooked whtie egg poop is a type of poop they do when they havn't been eating.
The white part is called the urate. If he hasn't been eating, then yes, there will be just urate. It's a normal part of their poop.

I took him to the vet and found out "he" is really a she. The vet gave her a belly full of fluids/food, a shot of calcium, and an antibiotic just in case. I'm supposed to give her the antibiotic every 3 days up until she's had 10 doses, and I'm supposed to keep her at ~95 degrees. I was worried sick but both the vet and friendly vet tech assured me she wasn't too bad, and that they've seen much worse. I panicked today because she wasn't able to walk without moving like jello. I dropped $200 that I definitely don't have, but knowing she'll be fine is completely worth it. I also bought repta boost and will continue to soak her in pedialyte/water.

Quick question, though: does anyone know the best way to administer repta boost? I couldn't get her to open her mouth. I tried pulling the side of her mouth down and sticking the syringe in that way, but I was worried I was pulling too hard.

Yes, i tried that, but she completely ignored it. I got her to drink water by doing that last night, though. Maybe she was too weak today?

with my girl i pull her lip down just a bit and if its something that tastes good to her (repta-boost, critical care, probiotics, etc) i will just put a bit in between her lips and keep the syringe there, eventually she'll realize that its the "good" stuff and open up for me.

when its meds though.... thats a struggle.. patience is my only advice.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
