This weekend one of my cousins was visiting and decided it would be a good idea to feed my beardie without asking me first. He fed him a breeder dubia roach and some dubia roach food. I waited until the end of the day, yesterday, to see if by some miracle he could get it out, but he can't. I'm not sure what I need to do know

Is your beardie an adult ? They can eat + digest a large roach. And they don't always pass a meal even within a week at times. Unless your dragon is acting sickly there's no reason to worry.

If he doesn't " go " within 10 days or so, give him some natural laxatives like baby food squash or sweet potato. Raw honey and olive oil can help as well or applesauce or baby food prunes. Then a nice wrm bath which can help them as well.

This is a little study I did on Peppa and Toothless , it'll be illuminating to you - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=232446

Peppa has gone up to 14 days once (was very relieved when she made a humungous deposit in her baby bath.
I generally don't intervene in any way unless it's been a week and don't start worrying until it's been 12 days.

Thank you for the quick responses! He's around 6 months old. I'll wait and see how he is next week. Thanks again!

Hello,

He should be fine, but as suggested, just keep an eye on him. Maybe give some extra oral
fluids just to help with hydration status & with passing things through. At least he wasn't a
tiny baby but has some size to him.
Let us know how he is doing.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
