Set up questions

so i just bought a new tank for my beardie and i got few questions.

1.Should her hide be on the basking side(i have a custom made basking spot and its a peace of wood sticking out from the glass and under it there is shade so idk if i should put her hide there?) or cool side...and should her water bowl and food bowl be on cool or hot side?

I have my bearded dragon's hide in the middle of the tank. Food and water need to go on the cool side, salad stays fresh longer.
