Separation anxiety?

Recently Furiosa has been blackbearding every time I put him back in his tank for school (8 hours ), he always calms down when I take him out and let him crawl on my shoulder. He got a new 40 gallon tank recently also so I'm not sure if it is separation anxiety or if it is just the new tank he got. He is on a 100 watt basking light with basking temp at 98 F with the cool side at 75 F. His uvb bulb is a reptisun 10.0, he is on reptile carpet and he is just starting a shed. Thoughts?

In that one paragraph is enough to drive him crazy. The only time he is happpy is when you take him out for a while. Good news is he will settle in in due time and the shed will be over. He will be OK in a bit just give him time.
