Not sure if this should be in this board or the enclosure??
Several months ago when we upgraded Emerson's tank we saved the smaller one to use as a feeding tank. My question is, what should I use on the bottom? We are currently using the carpet from when this was his enclosure, but the crickets are constantly finding their way underneath it. I feel like I've tried everything to make sure they can't, but these little jerks seem to always find a way! If we take it out he just slides around and can't catch anything. Any ideas or suggestions?

Maybe some shelf liner that has a bit of grip to it. You could cut it to size and even tape it down and it would be easy to remove/replace/clean as needed.

The way I do it is get a piece of paper towel so he can grip and just tape around the edges. And just change it out every week . Works like a charm .

I use cork that I glued down with Emlers glue (Not toxic), gives plenty of traction for chasing those pesky bugs down, lol!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
