Good Afternoon!
I have been lurking and learning for a few months and would first like to thank everyone for sharing all their knowledge! It has been a tremendous help in our efforts to build a safe and beautiful enclosure for our beardies!
My question is in regards to the sealer that we used.....I think we may have made a mistake.
We used the styrofoam type material, we carved and cut and made a massive mess! Then we covered it with several coats of grout, followed by a coat of Valspar Stone. Our final step was the sealer... Valspar Clear Sealer in Satin. On the second can we noticed we had one water-based and one that did not state water-based....of course the one we used first is the one that is not water-based.
Does it matter?
Will this hurt our beardies?
If this is not the correct sealer, could we use the correct one over the incorrect one?
Do we need to start over?
We are willing to start over, its just the walls....we have put in too much thought and time into this project to make it safe, to just shrug this off. We want this done right.
Thanks for reading my rambling...
