Screen top or no screen?

Hi I have a Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB T5HO 39W 34“ light on the tank now, it goes diagonal across 2/3 of the tank. I want to add some “furniture” but he has climbed out of there with hammocks.

The screen top isn’t on. I was thinking of putting it back on with the lights on top.

I currently do NOT have a way of Securing it inside the glass tank.

Will this greatly diminish his uvb?

No screen or under it 12-15 inches from basking decor-- on top of screen 8-10 inches directly under UVB

Awesome. Yea I hate how plain and sparse his tank is now. I had to take the hammocks out - he climbs out then gets stuck and could possibly fall and hurt himself.
