Scorch is shedding

Okay, so when I got Scorch he was under fed and under cared for. I have beening doing my best to put some weight back on him, and it's working. He shed for the first time with me this week, but it was really, really think, not thin like my snakes shedding at all. At first I thought chunks of skin were falling off. Do all beardies shed like this? The other thing is now that he has shed, he is almost completely white and light yellow. Before he was a dark grey color.

Yes! That is how Beardies shed. There shedded skin comes off in multiple pieces unlike how snakes shed in one neat piece. There skin goes darker when they are going into shed and after, there colours are usually much brighter and nicer. So yes this is how beardies shed
