I'm guessing you could Velcro tape a background on? It wouldn't be as flat as glueing it on, but you could still change it to a different one if you got sick of it. :)

now that i do not know....but i can't see it putting off fumes...

i guess you could use thumb tacks if you painted them the same color as the area they are going in on the background, or staple gun

sorry i didnt put that right... let me try again...my brain isnt working today...
the background, if you get one that usually would stick do you think you would still worry about fumes being let off once it heats up in there? if you do think the background would let off fumes i could always find a temporary home for them while i waited....

What about mixing some elmer's glue with some water to thin it out and use a paint brush to either put it on the back of the background or directly onto the viv itself?

would that cause any issues with the melamine? I keep reading that moisture and melamine dont mix...

I'm not sure about the melamine.. I don't have much knowledge regarding that material but I wouldln't think so b/c it's just elmers glue..

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
