Scarlet threw up today.. advise please

Scarlet has been doing great...Yesterday she ate normal and pooped normal...We bought some Superworms and crickets 2 days ago and I notice a lot of black Superworms in there..I took all the bad ones out, since they weren't moving and they were hard anyway, plus I didn't want to leave bad ones in with the good ones...
I wasn't happy with all the bad worms and will talk to the place we buy their food tomorrow (today) about it...But today I fed her 5 normal live worms and some crickets all with Calcium on them and she pooped normally but threw all the worms..Could one of the worms have possibly been going bad and me not know it ??? Now she's just lying around and not doing much of anything but laying there and sleeping some.. We gave her a bath hoping it would help her tummy if it was hurting her, she seemed to like it, but didn't run around like she normally does, she just shut her eyes while he bathed her.....You can tell she isn't feeling well..Any suggestions, this just started today (well yesterday, since it's 12:44 my time)..LOL....Here is a pic of what she's been doing since she threw up....

Had you fed more worms then normal? Is this her first superworms? My Seka has thrown up worms before, each time she would kind of act like this. After she had slept it off she was back to normal. Funny the only dragon I had ever seen throw up was my female.

Maybe go back over her enclosure setup, check her temps and her UV.

remember to always check the superworms before you check out. Smell them too, if they smell, and I don't mean their normal bad smell but, a very pungent bad smell then don't get them. What I like to see when I buy my supers are all alive, normal bad smell and at least one that just shed. :wink:

Oh geez, what you said reminds me of Digger, we were out of butterworms and I had to go to Petsmart to get supers some till my order came in and I fed him and he threw up and was feeling bad for a few days. Scarlet looks exactly like Digger did, only minus the black beard.

To me it sounds like bad worms, what I did was feed Digger some baby food for a few days then when the butters came in, he went after them. Just keep an eye on Scarlet and see what happens.

Do you have any acidophiliz+? It's a reptile digestive aid.. it will help her tummy, especially if it hurts from getting sick.
You may also want to syringe feed her some water or Pedialyte to help her get rehydrated.

Thank you all so much for the replies...All her temps are fine..Yes she has eaten these since we got her..She's about a year from what we can gather...Someone gave her and Thor to us..both are missing some of their tails so we're not exactly how long they are, so it's a little hard to determine their exact ages...ButI think it was a bad worm..Today she is back to normal..I've fed her just a few worms, and a few crickets just to make sure her tummy is better..I'll give her some greens later after I see how she does with what I fed her already...I know she was HUNGRY..LOL....I went to the pet store explained about the worms, my crickets and the meal worms, and he was so nice, he replaced the mealworms, looked at other containers of the Superworms and found one like I had bought that had many dead ones on top..I said that's what mine looked like when I got home..He said these shouldn't even be here they should have been thrown away, I'm going to have a talk with her about what to look for and what to sell and not to sell to my customers...I said the girl looked in the container but I didn't get to see them..He said she shouldn't of even sold you these, let me check some other containers, he found a good batch and just gave them to me, along with more crickets and exchanged the mealworms for the right size..He was very nice and very apologetic...Is the Acidophilus in pill form ???..I just to have to drink the milk, but never thought about it being in pill form....
In case ya'll missed the only egg that survived from her clutch here is a video of it..it should hatch around the end of August..I think we figured out why the other ones didn't make it..She caught us off guard, (well I miscalculated her due date) so the incubator didn't have proper time to warm up, so we went a head and put the 23 eggs in it..Well 2 days later she pooped out another egg, (this one) and by this time the incubator had time to warm up..so we think that is why the others didn't develop...But we'll be ready next time...
Anyway here is the baby moving in the egg..I just love it...

Oh wow, how neat to watch that little baby wiggling around! Sorry you lost all the others but at least you have this little one. Glad Scarlet is back to normal and that you had such a good outcome at the pet store.
