scales a different texture on nose

i just noticed this yesterday: my beardie Archer has a patch of scales on the tip of his nose angling back toward his head that look more like a plastic texture than his rougher looking scales. he's 12 weeks and had a few sheds. is this normal change for him? or is this a symptom of something serious?

If its the scales I'm thinking of then yes, it normal. They are smooth and become more noticeable as they get bigger, they look really strange right before a shed.
