This is Charizard, a 4 month old male Orange Hypo-pastel X blood/red Flame X blood/orange Sandfire dragon with Georgia dragon decent purchased from http://carolinadesignerdragons.com/care_water.htm, his coloring is coined as Sunkist. Charizard's parents are Sunkist and Rhett.
So I've been contemplating getting one, since i technically do have enough money. But decided that i should wait till i have a job, cause i know little guys eat a lot. However, having an awesome boyfriend means he'll feel bad and go out and get me one anyways and surprise me with a 4 month old male fancy. I named him Charizard, specifically ash's charizard from pokemon.. His coloring reminds me of one as does his attitude towards veggies, he doesn't want to eat any but we know he likes them. Though crickets are his main diet. He's such a sweet lizard, very friendly and easy to handle. He does like to run after fast moving objects though, whether there crickets or not he'll skitter almost off the couch if were not paying enough attention to him.
Charizard came from Carolina Dragons, based in Charlotte. His particular coloring is called Sunkist by Carolina Dragons. I wanted one from Carolina Dragons not necessarily for the awesome colors (they are nice, but I'd be happy with any beardie) but for healthy genes. The Petsmart's near us had good looking dragons but I wanted to make sure, and I recently heard that bearded dragons are actually protected in the wild so I didn't want a dragon from the wild. I don't know for sure if people bring wild beardies into the pet trade but you never know.
