sanitizing bricks for tank

In my backyard I found several bricks and a flat piece of rock that I think would look great in Emmett's 40 gallon. But they have been outside for as long as I can remember and how should I clean them to make them clean and safe enough to put in his tank?

Hi there....just a good scrub with soapy hot water and a good rinse will be fine. You can add a capful of bleach if you like, but rinse well. Brick + rock aren't porous like wood which you need to pop in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
