Salad Question with pics.

Im trying to get my dragon to eat salad, He used to when he was a juvenile but then stopped for a while because he had a calcium deficiency from poor UVB in september, the vet told me to feed him baby food and since then he has only had that. I have stopped feeding him B.F 4 days ago, now im waiting for him to give in on the salad. In picture A we have collard and dandelion greens bigger pieces on plate. In picture B we have the same but chopped finer in a reptile food bowl. What salad would he have more interest in?? The plate pic A the salad dries out faster and he tends to climb over it and flatten it out and sometimes gets everywhere. but is more visible to him than the bowl..

try putting both dishes in and see which he likes better. My dragon prefers to eat off of a plate.

Smart thinking. I wish i thought of that. When my dragon used to eat salad he used to eat bok choy only, since i have tried collards he hasnent bit the bait. Would there be a chance he doesnt like collard? Should i mix up some choy in there aswell?

Its possible he doesn't like collards, I've had some who wouldn't eat them. Try mixing in bok choy, it could help.

Mine prefer a plate too. Also as another poster mentioned your dragon may not like what you are offering. Mine stopped liking dandelion greens and now only like turnip greens and collard greens. If they do not like what I've given them they kick it all over their viv and even poop on their plate!

Try adding butternut or Kiwi. Its irresistable to beardies
