Sahara has a tank with no lights

Sahara's light fixtures have both broken......wat can i do to keep her healthy until i can get new ones? The pet store and my current budget wont allow me to purchase a light fixture right now next pay check which is monday i will be able to get them.... High school income stinks ugh :evil: but should i set her next t a window? Will this keep her warm? I would put her with spiff but im afraid of what could happen if that were to happen... She is still just a juvie and he is much much larger I fear he would kill her... What should I do?

have you looked online? stuff is a lot cheaper on there than in stores.

is it warm outside where you are? natural uvb rays are great!!

Do you use a tube uv bulb? You can buy a fixture for 8 dollars at home-depot. At home-depo if you go to the florecent tube fixture section they have store brand fixtures. There are many types and the cheapest type is 8 dollars. You will just need to keep the semi clear part that covers the bulb off because it would block the uv rays. I just set it right on top of the viv, on the screen.

I heard you're not supposed to set their cages directly next to windows, the sunlight going thru the window and then the glass of the cage is magnified and isn't good for your beardie... I don't know if thats 100% fact, but better to be safe than sory.
