Saffron's thread! new pics on page 2

... and I'd like to add my own to the community! My husband and I are in Madison, WI and have an amazing reptile shop, which sadly my beard is eating out of small dubias (thus why a couple of you have gotten PMs from me about starting my own colony) Her (she seems to be female but is young, so we're going cross fingers that she's a she) name is Saffron and I love her to pieces already! Here's some pics! (I hope it's not to many.....)

This is just a couple days after we got her -

Here is something strange she does on occasion, though not so much anymore. She definitely isn't a fan of just sitting flat on anything. She has to hang at odd angles... :roll:

We picked her out because she was the most energetic of them all, and also the biggest. Thinking back on it, she was TINY!
Here she is a little over a week ago, at near 10 inches -

In that last picture, you can't see it well, but she was quite perturbed, and her little black pattern on her beard and belly was soo black. It's really pretty actually!

Sorry for the double post, but I had a question. The store I got her from said she was a red dragon - not knowing much about dragon morphs, is she just a red, or is there something else/a different name for her morph?

Also, on the age/size note, at 10 inches long, is it likely she's 3-4 months old, or more like 2 months old?
Oh! and one more thing... based on the newer pics, is she skinny or just right?

Sorry, just a worried first time dragon owner (my father kept one but did a terrible job. Bob died at about 3 years old and had joint issues (he would go through periods where he couldn't move one or two of his back legs) and he never gave him supplements) and I want to make sure I'm doing the best for him!

HAHA i love the pics of her back legs hanging off. And my dragon is 4 months exactly.. 4 months and a day to be exact and she is 13 inches. i got mine when she was 10 inches and was roughly 3 months old. They do all grow differently but if yours is 10 inches she/he should be 3 months looking at how old mine was when she was 10 inches.
