Sorry, title probably sounded strange haha.
I will be away for maybe 36 hours, I have traveled for periods of time before but always had somebody to feed my beardie.
This weekend I do not, I will only be gone one night.
I know they're lizards and are kind of evolved to go without eating but I suppose I'm actually curious what is a safe maximum you guys think they can actually go for? I'm not entirely worried for the duration I'll be gone since it's not very long. I can try to fill him up before I go and I will leave the commercial pellets in his bowl.
What sort of time frames have you left yours alone for?

Do you have a timer for his lights so they automatically go on and off at certain times? That would be my first and biggest concern.

As for food you could leave some worms in a bowl and his usual greens/salad so that he has something to munch on for at least half the time you are gone - but that wouldn't be a good idea if he doesn't have the lights to digest it....

Yes, I have a timer.
I couldn't imagine having him this long and been worrying about flicking the lights on/off on a daily basis.
I'll stick with the pellets probably..I wouldn't want to leave live insects(even worms) in there nor decaying veggies while I'm gone lol.

You'll be fine without feeding him for two days or three, even with younger beardies. You are more than fine with your time period and a light timer.
Veggies should be fine to just keep in there. Worms depends on the worms. BSF Larvae are fine to keep in there in a nonclimbable dish imo.

Thanks! That's more along the lines I was thinking of.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
