So I’m trying to utilize more vertical space in Oslo’s enclosure. I just bought these really neat pillars that I’m wanting to use to set some old tiles on for a partial second story. I’m wanting to glue the tiles to the plaster pillars for some extra security, but I’m not sure what’s safe?

You can use clear (doesn't have to be clear, it just looks better) 100% pure silicone. Be sure to let it dry to zero fumes
