Running out of options, need some serious advice

Hello Jane,

It sounds like he has picked up on all sorts of tricks to get more attention. LOL So he will puff himself up to get out of his tank or open his mouth?
I hope that once he gets more active this next year that his mobility improves some, poor guy!
Are you still giving baths, too? So he likes the lower humidity also? Yeah, I don't think it is calcium issues, either.
He just releases heat like that when opening his mouth to cool off, too. I guess he thinks he is too hot.
I am glad he is eating so good also, it sounds like he is feeling pretty well!
Keep us posted on his adventures.

Hey Tracie,
Yup, anything that will get my attention so that he can come on the cage and just sit with me is a necessity. Heaven forbid I should walk away from a few minutes to take care of something, he demands my compliance in all things, my life must completely revolve around him.
It's not to bad it just hampers him a little bit, especially when he's trying to turn around. Of course, he gets baths at least twice a week. That's part of his exercise regime. Technically is four baths, because the first fully bath he doesn't swim, he just sits. I then have to proceed to refill it so that he will swim. :roll: Or I think the more appropriate emoticon would be :whip:
That's typically when I get home from work and he hasn't moved from his basking platform for a few hours, even though his hide is wide open. I can't tell if he's to lazy to move, or its just his way to balance for sleeping most of the morning.
First snow of the year technically because it actually was about in inch that covered the ground, the area around me is getting hit much worse.
The other day when we didn't adhere to his new schedule, he wasn't happy. I took him out and he proceeded to spend a good amount of time trying to burrow into the couch and trying to stick his head into the spaces between the cushions. He wasn't happy when the couch wouldn't yield to his digging.
