Rubbed off scales?

I peak in on Simon every once in a while because one I miss holding him and two just to see if he is awake or not. I noticed on his right arm he has discolored scales. I know he always sleeps with his arms behind him. I'm not too worried and I don't really want to take him to the vet, I'd like to let him rest. Any advice would be great. It used to be smaller but its about the size of a dime right now.

Are you sure it is not a bit of retained shed? You can put some aloe vera lotion on the spot or regular neosporin without the pain reliever to try and get it to loosen up.

Perhaps someone else has a better idea of what it is. Maybe take a close up picture of it for others to see better? I hope you can find some help!

My phone wont focus too close to his arm. His hand has already shed not too long ago. Its like a clear shade of scales on his arm. They are soft and feel like scales, but they are discolored. I found the same thing on his other hand just a smaller amount. Half of the time he is sitting around or sleeping his arms are behind him, so I'm hoping thats all that it is. But any insight would help. I can't afford to take him to the vet again...
