Rocky hanging from top of tank...(pics)

Is Rocky just being silly by hanging from the tank cover? Or is he just dying to get out? He also runs around sometimes like a spazz and tries to crawl up all sides of the tank. Not sure what he is looking at or trying to do..

We have had a sort of rough week or so because he was without any UVB light because of some problems. So that PLUS the fact that he was shedding I guess was putting him in a not so happy mood. Whenever I would try to hold him, he would sit still for a few seconds and then try to make a run for it. (He is only a juvenile at a few months old)

He is finally with his UVB which he basks under all day and has seemed to be getting back to normal. He is still not to happy about me holding him very long but I am just going to give him time.

Is this behavior really odd? He is just having fun and being silly?

I don't even know how he could get up there! I think when they paw on the glass, (we call it glass dancing) They want to come out. Nim did that when it was very hot in the house and his cage became hot. The glass dancing, not the ceiling clinging. And when I hold Nim he wants to run around also. So what I did was, use some floss, make a lasso and tie it to Nim. But not around the neck, I placed it on him like a shoulder strap. Or you could supervise the zippy jumpy lizard. Another reason why Nim glass danced was because a tasty bug was crawling on the floor in front of his cage. Hope this helps!

Well I don't know if it means anything bad or not, I'm sure he just wants out...but those last two pics are about the cutest thing I have ever seen!! Two of mine glass dance when they've had enough of their enclosure for the day and they want out.

Thanks so much guys! I'm sure he just wants out too but I just wanted to know of anyone else's similar experiences so thanks for sharing!

And he jumps up to the ceiling from the top of the bonsai tree which you can see in the pictures. He lives up there and I guess just decided to explore .

The bottom 2 pictures always make me laugh every time because he is just so cute and funny. I saw him jump up there and I was dying. The first two pictures when he is attached by all 4 legs I happened to walk into my room and couldn't find him....... Then I saw him hanging from the top it was so freaking cute.
