Darwin (8 year old) has been eating much better and today ate a small (1/2-3/4") dubia roach. He took a second one soon after then went back to basking. A few minutes later I saw the 2nd, whole and sticking out of his mouth. Odd, waited, looked back and he had spit out, unchewed. He seemed a little lethargic so I looked in mouth and it looked like the first one might be lodged. Massaged throat, waited, offered water, which he readily took (I was careful so he would not aspirate), massaged, looked again. It is hard to see in there! It is just me so cannot get a good light and keep open. I have had this with chameleons, but they have big mouths and can actually get things out - have never had this with Darwin. Anyone have experience, suggestions? He is not "choking" but worried that if it is just sitting back there it might move wrong way and lodge.
I am not panicked - yet.
