roach breeding

ok, so ive decided i need to start a colony of roaches, i just dont know were to start. i understand the set up they need, but i dont know if i should buy a bunch of adults or mixed ones so i can start feeding some of the little ones right away... can somebody give me some advice on which to go with... i dont relay want to wait months to just get some babys and my dragon is 8 months old so he would need some that were bigger than just babies. Im confussed on which way to go with this. and also if your pulling out all the babies to be feeders how do you keep your colony growing when the adults die off? just add some of the bigger non adult roaches to take their place? 1. Buy both if you want to feed right away.
2. When removing babies from the tub, leave some in or add more adults to replace the older ones that die. It will take around 6 months for a baby to grow up, under optimal conditions.
3. Maybe start with 1000 nymphs and lots of adults. You say you already know the setup so I won't beat you up with the details. :lol:
