Some of you people will know from reading here the bad luck i have been having with the dragons i have attempted to befriend. First there was Pete that died from a self induced crash diet, then there was Stuart, that unfortunately was taken by a hawk from my back yard. After a short time to think things through i decided to get another, this one is about 7 months old and i call him Simon.
This dragon is well behaved, tame and has taken to sitting on my shoulder when i walk around my home. This is not about death or of a sick dragon, but of an unfortunate, humorous, incident that happened to me yesterday that i thought deserved sharing, since i have not brought any good news threads to this forum.
As i mentioned, Simon seems to really like to sit on my shoulder when i watched t.v. or was on the computer or watching me tinker in my workshop. At times when i am doing things with him on my shoulder i sometimes forget he is even there. So there i was in my basement workshop designing a piece of furniture for a customer when nature called and i had to go pee. Standing there doing my duty when i feel him starting to slide off my shoulder, either he lost his grip when he moved or he fell asleep. Well he fell off me, bounced off my...
well you know.....and right into the toilet bowl. He looked up at me like it was my fault he fell and i had to laugh. I picked him up and gave him a bath and sanitized him. Next time i go solo to the bathroom.
Frank
p.s. ......those spines on his back really cause a lot pain.
