Right amount of food??

Hi

Zora is roughly 4 1/2 5 months old, she eats like a horse and will eat food whenever you give her it (other than first thing in the morning)
I was just wondering if It's possible to overfeed her or if its just normal.
I know they eat alot, just don't want to make her sick by eating too much.

She eats crickets & locusts every day

a growing girl needs her protein. also offer salad whether she eats it or not. both my dragons stop eating when they are full. I suppose they have the sense to not overindulge to the point of being sick.

Young dragons grow very quickly and need a lot of food to support that growth. There are two methods to feeding a young dragon: (1) offer as much live food as they'll eat in 10 minutes per feeding, 1-3 times a day (the smaller the dragon, the more feedings per day). This can work out to over 100 crickets a day for some dragons. The reasoning with this method is that a young dragon won't overeat and you're making sure they get everything they need to grow. (2) The same as method one but you cut them off once they hit 50 crickets in a day. This method reasons that 50 a day is enough for a dragon to grow well and at a good rate while encouraging healthy eating habits since your dragon is more likely to start eating salad at an earlier age. The all you can eat method is more common.
