so i was watching my new baby beardie's sides as she was heavily breathing during a cricket chase, and her entire sides to not inflate, just the front half of the torso, like a humans would. but bearded dragons ribs go along the entire length of their torso. my 12 inch male doesn't seem to have this issue. is it a baby thing? this is my first baby, my male i got at 8 inches. but then again i work at petsmart in pet care and never noticed this kind of shape distortion when breathing.

When Stanley (also a baby) starts breathing hard, I only see the top part of his chest/sides move in and out.

I don't think it's a deformity, it looks pretty normal to me.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
