Rexi's Dubias arrived today!!!!!

The crickets are finally gone!! YAY

Fed her, her first one...and she loves them. Never seen her so excited....other than it's a close tie with her hornworms too!

I have them(200 mixed) in a 10 gallon glass tank....with there chow, and water gel!
is there anything else I need to take care of these little rolly pollies lol .....

also how hard is it too make a colony of these?

Taking care of dubia is super easy.

A plastic bin, a heat source, egg crates, chow, and veggies/water crystals are all that you need to start breeding.

I recommend ditching the aquarium and picking up a plastic storage bin. The babies can sometimes climb the silicone in the edge of glass tanks.

200 Mixed is enough to start a colony as long as you are patient and don't feed them off right away.
