Retained shed in ear canal

My dragon has had a retained shed in her ear canal for a while. She has went through 2 or 3 sheds and it is still there. My dragon is about 3 years old. I have tried using a Q-tip dipped in water to keep the shed moist while she is in the bath. Is there anything I can try, I have not tried to acutally peel it off for a fear of injury. Any suggestions?

Have you tried warm olive oil ? Don't peel it off , however, you can damage new skin underneath or even leave an open wound.
