Hey!
I have a 2 year old beardie, he is fat and lazy and happy all the time, likes to lounge in his basking spots near the window or nap under his log, and then run around my room, he hates his salad but will eat it after awhile and loves supers, so pretty much normal.
Though sometimes I wonder if my beardie is over weight, deff seems fatter than some others I've seen.
I have all the correct set ups, with zoo med uvb (actually I recently switched to that Zoo Med Reptisun Terrarium Hood - T5 HO High Output -- is that okay?) and also his tank is 4 feet long, and the basking spot is around 105. my humidity has gone up due to me using my AC unit in my room, it usually is at 10% in his tank but sometimes gets up to 40%
He doesnt eat his salad everyday and he goes to the bathroom every few days but is active and never has any sickly symptoms, sometimes he acts as if his tank is TOO hot!
I ask this because when I put him in his bath he will kinda of half puff his beard out in short bursts here and there, but there isnt any noise. I read online that and being swollen or fat looking is a symptom as well, but I might be looking into it too much.
please let me know, and what are some good herp vets in PA near philly? ? ?
lol when I turn the lights on in the morning ^
