No problem, please report back on what UVB tube you end up getting him, because depending on which one you get, this will determine how it needs to be mounted and how close it needs to be to his Basking Spot. You probably will not find a T5 UVB tube at a pet store, you definitely will not find one at any Petco or PetSmart, the only half-way decent UVB tube either of them sell is an 18" Reptisun 10.0 T8 UVB tube. That's it, and this shorter, much weaker tube UVB costs $37.99 at both stores, just for the UVB tube, not including a fixture!!! He has to have at least a 22" Reptisun 10.0 T5HO UVB tube, or a 24" Arcadia 12% T5 UVB tube, and the only place you're going to find a T5 UVB tube that is at least 22" or 24" is at a reptile specialty store, or online. I mean, like I said, the 22" Reptisun 10.0 T5HO UVB tube only costs $23 on Amazon.com, while the much weaker 18" T8 version costs $38 at Petco or PetSmart, so you're much better off ordering from Amazon, as I don't think you'll even find an adequate UVB tube anywhere locally, and if you do it will cost you a small fortune with a matching length fixture. If you order both the 22" Reptisun 10.0 T5HO UVB tube and fixture on Amazon, both together will be less than $50...And an 18 " tube is not nearly long enough for a 75 gallon tank, and a T8 strength UVB tube is not nearly strong enough...
Avoid any other brands except Reptisun 10.0 and Arcadia (you won't find any Arcadia stuff, it's European), because all the other UVB tube brands emit harmful rays that cause eye damage. These include Zilla, All Living Things (the worst of them, PetSmart's house brand), ReptileOne, and any others.
