Reptisun 10.0 20W

Hello everyone. I hope you all are enjoying the holidays. As many of you know I got my bearded dragon about 2 weeks ago. When I bought him I got a compact uvb bulb and after reading these forums I realized I needed to by a strip one. So today I bought a reptisun 10.0 UVB 20W. I just want to make sure i got the right thing so if you guys could please confirm, it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Good job on getting the correct bulb. :wink: Wanted to make sure that you knew that it should be placed right alongside a bright white basking bulb so that he can get the benefit of both bulbs at the same time. Also, the UVB should be 6 to 8" from him.

thank you. I do have a basking bulb on top of the tank as well and the digital thermometer reads 102.2 degrees when I place it at the spot where he always basks. The basking spot is 6 inches from the basking bulb and the UVB bulb.

As stated above, the best fluorescent strip bulb you can get in the U.S. is the Repti-Sun 10.0.
