ReptiGlo 10.0 and ReptiGlo 5.0

Okay I have Brought the 2 ReptiGlo, Some say that ReptiGlo 10.0 is bad for the bearded dragons eyes, but some say that the bearded dragon must be at least 8/12 inches away from it and it could be good, so my bearded dragon is sometimes really close to it because we have only a small tank, (we are already reserving a bigger one) and he hasn't got any problem hes I think 6-8 months old male bearded dragon, he has a regular lamp what gives him heat, , today I brought ReptiGlo 5.0 in the petshops they said that ReptiGlo 10.0 can be used with ReptiGlo5.0 so well, Hope Im doing everything right, Im not really a beginner of bearded dragons I had sand lizards They didn't needed A UVB lamp Well they needed only sun, but I know how to take care for them because they were eating crickets like bearded dragons,

I have a question:
Will ReptiGlo 10.0 harm him? Or I put only the ReptiGlo 5.0 into the Tank for heat and UVB (ReptiGlo 5.0 includes anti MBD and calcium also includes heat and UVB light)

Well his colouring is fine and also his eyes are really bright opened, hes also really active and eats his Calcium Dusted crickets, I give him twice a week Multivitamine on his crickets,

Hope I will not harm him with the ReptiGlo 10.0 :?

do not believe the man in the store hes looking for a fast buck , buy the reptisun if you can and until then use the reptiglo 10.0 ONLY!

so only ReptiGlo 10.0? some say thats not good for their eyes and anyways they haven't got Reptisun in the Whole land where I live so I think I can have Only ReptiGlo

What country do you live in? If you are in the UK, get the Arcardia 12% If your in Canada or the US, you can order Reptisuns online for a great price.
If you do use the Glos, only use the 10.0. Combining the 10.0 and the 5.0 will be too much UVB.

You talking about the Repti Glo 10.0 UVB 26W being bad??? cuz thats what im using for each of my dragons and never heard this before..

We have got One ReptiGlo 10.0 and ReptiGlo 5.0 what happens if I combine this two ReptiGlos, anyways Im not from Canada or UK, Im from Slovakia, Im using right now only the ReptiGlo 10.0 and a reuglar lamp what gives also heat,,

Your using the tube kind, right? Not the coil?
If you combine them, yoiur beardie will be getting too much UVB... I dongt remember exactly what it does to them, but I know it isnt good.

ReptiGlos have been known to cause eye problems with beardies... Do a search on the forum, and youll find lots of threads on it. From what I understand, some of the problem has been fixed with them- I know one of the breeders on here uses them with some of his beardies with no problems. But just to be safe, Ive always used ReptiSuns since I can get them for the same price.

are you in england/europe? i hear the acardia 12% is available over there and it's really good.

Im from Slovakia Its in Europe, but in my Land they haven't got arcadia only ReptiGlo
