I'm going to be driving to Michigan, something that I usually do yearly. I stay for two weeks, and the hubby goes home after one. Usually we leave a pet sitter the house key to watch the cats, she comes twice a day because two kitties take medication. No big deal.
This is the first year we've had a reptile. I'm loathe to leave her behind because 1) she's still young, and I like to feed her the buggies three times a day 2) the pet sitter isn't reptile experienced and is willing to learn but without experience I don't trust her to do it (she's very sweet, but I would do NOTHING but worry) 3) (a little selfishly) I'd kind of like to bring somebody with me, and Odahviing would be an ideal travel mate since we're driving.
My thought is that these ReptiBreezes seem nearly ideal. They're aluminum frame enclosures basically and come flat. You build them, with screws, and it seems they should disassembles as easily as they assemble. My thought is that if I take them and lay them on their BACK rather then on their square bottom they're pretty comparable in size to a full sized home viv but can be made flat and boxed for ease of transport. Additionally they seem ideal in that they are lighter then a smaller glass viv.
My question is, has anybody had one of these/has anybody got one of these? Do you think they would stand to laying on their backs? Do they seem well made enough to stand up to being taken apart and put back together?
