If you have that Glo bulb on turn it off right away, I would advise not useing Repti Glo as they are very dangerous for beardies eyes and do not supply enough uv for digestion. The best UVB to use is "Reptisun 10.0 UVB tube (no bulbs). You can use a 100 watt incondescent bulb for heat and basking areas.
yes it is fine the repti glo won't cause any issues,i have used it constantly with 0 issues as well as many others.
[posted by moderator] I would question the above statement as most of the members on this forum do not use the Repti-Glo bulbs because of all the health issues associated in using it.
The Repti-Glo has caused all sorts of health issues including conjunctivitis which you can read about here: http://www.uvguide.co.uk/phototherapyphosphor.htm We really can't recommend using one. Is your bulb a coil/compact type or a strip fluorescent?

no need to question it,i have been using it for a while as many others i know and breeders with 0 issues, just a few horror stories online gave it a bad name, thanks for your concern
Just recently a new poster started a thread here where the Repti Glo was the source of her problems and switching to the Repti Sun gave *immediate* improvement.

i would have prefered a reptisun or an arcadia but like i said i cant find any. The other types in the pet shop are one i have never heard of so didn't want to get them. Thanks for the advise guys. I'll keep a close eye on draco for any issues.
It cost me I think $30 from Amazon with free shipping. Very worth it - I don't know what you have now, but MBD is very ugly if you have one that simply doesn't produce enough or the right sort of UVB.
