repti-glo 10.0 question

We just purchased repti glo bulb for our new 70 gallon tank. We are new at all this and we are having trouble finding a light for it. We were trying to find a less expensive light at DIY stores but can't find anything 36 inches that holds a T8. Please advise!

Is your bulb coil or a tube? I use a tube in our 50 gal tank. You can get 2 under counter fixtures and mount them side by side some you can connect together. Walmart has them for about $10. Petmountain.com has great prices on bulbs.

You don't want a repti-glo bulb period. You want a Repti-Sun bulb. Long florescent tube to be exact.
