repti 10.0 tube or compact

ok, so i just ended building my 4x2x2 tank for a baby bearded dragon( who for some reason have NO stress at all of the new enclosure, he even ate more ), i had him on a 10 gallon tank with a 60W sun bulb and a 26W 10.0 compact bulb for UVB rays. she spend most of the time on the basking spot that about 16 in from the 10.0 UVB bulb

should i buy a tube 10.0 tube or stick with the compact?
why is the compact one bad/good?
where can i get one for a cheap price?

Get the Reptisun 10 Tube, the compacts are hard on their eyes and is not a good light.! a good article to read on the compacts http://www.uvguide.co.uk/phototherapyphosphor.htm

I had the compact and my girls did not do good switched to the reptisun after finding this site and they are doing so good now! but I am switching to a Megaray next week!

Agreed, stick go with the tube version. The various UVB compact bulbs have been known to cause eye problems in some cases, and many burn off pretty quickly so that they're putting out light but not enough UVB for your dragon after a reletively short time. Without a UVB meter to monitor the bulb's output, I wouldn't trust them. The reptisun 10.0 tube however, has been around for a while and is well tested and proven to be a good bulb. You should be able to find it for about $20 online.

An other vote for the tube. The compacts are known to cause photo-kerato-conjunctivits (Yes I know I spelt it so bad I slaughterd it)
