Reptars Second Scare

And its even bigger than the first. He fell OFF my shoulder onto the floor.

I dont think he jumped, he might have just lost his grip on my shirt.

and he did this, imagine laying on your stomach and putting your hands/feet in the air. he was like flexing his back or something. it was scary.

he seems fine now. but oh man my hearts still racing.

I understand that scare! Redrock used to fall off my shoulder a lot and was never hurt, until September 1, 2008 (labor day that year) she died on September 10 because, I think, she injured her head. I don't think falling is always a problem, but for some reason beardies get into your heart and tend to scare you when you think something is wrong.

We stopped putting ours on our shoulder because of that reason they love to jump off.

He didnt really jump off. i kinda felt him slide off.

:shock: That is quite a scare. Reminds me of the time (uh-oh, irrelevent 3AM rant time) I was babysitting my friends hamster and it launched itself (exercise ball and all) off of my pool table and crashed on the floor. It like closed its eyes, flexed its back like you said and wouldn't use its back legs for 10 minutes. I think maybe its just the shock factor, plus the impact of landing from such a distance.
But yeah. I don't know what it is with beardies. Ruki dives off of my shoulder when he sees his viv. I guess he likes it in there? :? Well, all in all, I hope Reptar is ok!!
