Replacing Crickets

Hello everyone,
I have a 6 months old male bearded dragon named Falkor. His diet consists in around 60 small crickets per day 5 days a week, collard and mustard greens offered everyday, and occasionally I give him a few superworms, phoenix worms, or mealworms as treats.
I wonder if I can switch his staple protein from crickets to something else. I dislike dealing with crickets as they sometimes escape and then appear in my living room, bed room....
Any suggestions?
PPS. here is a picture of Falkor

have you thought about roaches? You can start up a colony and once its going you can feed out of it. They will get full faster on roaches as well.

That is a really pretty dragon, and an excellent name!

I second the above poster's suggestion of roaches. Variety is best, but roaches and crickets are the most common stable feeder insect.

The easiest healthful feeders are going to be crickets and roaches. If you live in the south of the USA you can culture your own black soldier fly larvae as well. Superworms are also incredibly easy to keep in bulk - I've just had poor luck with dragons going off any other healthier live food and holding out for the supers.

Falkor is a very handsome fellow, is that his usual color?

Thank you guys! I will try some dubia roaches and see how it goes. He has some orange stripes around him but since he will be shedding soon he looks whiter now... His real color is more pale beige with orange stripes :)

Thank you again

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
